
Lawyer and President of the AI Ethics and Integrity International Association (AIEI), an international non-profit organisation headquartered in Lisbon and Bern, dedicated to promoting ethical standards in the development and use of artificial intelligence. A former President of the European Young Bar Association, representing lawyers across Europe, he also leads Barbashyn Law Firm, specialising in technology law, intellectual property, AI and international business, with operations in Ukraine, Estonia and Portugal. A Harvard Law School alumnus, he has been an active voice in the European and global debate on AI regulation, algorithmic ethics and the boundaries of autonomous systems.
