A global biopharma executive with 25+ years of leadership experience across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, Mourad Aboubakr is currently Country President, Novartis Portugal, after 16 years in various roles in market access, commercial strategy, and launches in cardiovascular, ophthalmology, and neuroscience. Mourad holds a Bachelor’s in Finance, an INSEAD MBA, completed the Harvard Medical School Global Healthcare Leadership Program and is now completing the IMD Ignite Executive Program, continuously building a passion for innovative medicine, leading across cultures and fostering high-performing teams and ecosystems. Occasionally, Mourad shares his insights as guest speaker in academic institutions like Harvard Medical School Executive Education and IESE Barcelona.
