Data has become the most contested raw material of the 21st century. It sits at the heart of warfare – drones, satellites, disinformation. It drives the decisions of companies that anticipate markets and cities that are learning to govern in real time. It runs through an ocean that Portugal has yet to fully read, and through the talent the country trains but doesn’t always manage to keep.
The Data with Purpose Summit is a day of conversations about all of this – with business leaders, defence and security experts, researchers and public decision-makers who are at the centre of each of these shifts.
Data with Purpose Summit. 25 June, Centro de Congressos do Taguspark, Oeiras.
