Vereador da C\u00e2mara Municipal de Oeiras, com os pelouros da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, Desporto, Juventude, Bibliotecas e Ci\u00eancia e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o. Professor do ensino superior, \u00e9 doutorado em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o pela Universidade da Corunha, onde obteve o Pr\u00e9mio Extraordin\u00e1rio de Doutoramento com uma tese sobre participa\u00e7\u00e3o na educa\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica. A sua investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e actividade docente cruzam educa\u00e7\u00e3o, pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas e inova\u00e7\u00e3o. No executivo municipal, tem sido um dos impulsionadores da estrat\u00e9gia Oeiras Valley \u2013 a aposta do munic\u00edpio na atrac\u00e7\u00e3o de empresas, reten\u00e7\u00e3o de talento e desenvolvimento de um ecossistema de base cient\u00edfica e tecnol\u00f3gica que posiciona Oeiras como territ\u00f3rio de refer\u00eancia nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
